Dr. Alicia Moreno Mulloy (DocMM) believes choral music education has the power to shape passionate learners, fearless leaders, and children of exceptional character. As the choral director at Journey Middle School in Madison City Schools, she inspires young voices to not only sing beautifully but also grow into empathetic, kind human beings, ready to make a positive mark on the world. Alicia is a National Board Certified Teacher and hold degrees from Alcorn State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of West Alabama. Outside the classroom, Alicia’s heart is full with her husband, Craig, and their three children – Zoey, Willow, and Austin – who keep her inspired, motivated, and singing every day.
“It is my mission to inspire and challenge each child to become the best version of him or herself. I am determined to give each child the tools they need to achieve success in the real world. Teaching music comes second.” – DocMM
