The Stitch Squad is a new fiber arts club at Journey Middle School open to all grade levels. We are excited to provide students with opportunities to develop practical life skills and creative expression through fiber arts such as crocheting, knitting, and sewing, while fostering patience, problem-solving, and collaboration using their minds, hands, and hearts to benefit themselves and the people around them.
Students will be creating items to help our community by giving handmade gifts to our local hospital and library. The club’s $20 fee is to cover supplies that will be kept by students to complete those projects.
All club communication will be sent via ParentSquare to group members.
