Coach Triston McGraw - Head Boys' Basketball Coach

I am honored to be the Physical Education Teacher and the Head Basketball Coach for 7th and 8th grade boys here at Journey Middle School. I am originally from South Carolina and I am a huge fan of anything sports related—Lakers and 49ers in particular. I moved to Huntsville in 2018, and I attended Athens State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. I then obtained a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University. This is my 5th year of teaching and coaching basketball. In my free time, I enjoy anything sports related and spending time with my wife and our four children.

I look forward to a great year in the classroom and on the court at Journey Middle School!

Coach Arthur Johnson, Assistant Boys' Basketball Coach

I am from Huntsville, Alabama, and a father of 5. I graduated from Sparkman High School. Currently, I serve in the U.S. Army in the Alabama National Guard. I have been coaching for ten years on many different levels and am a part of local programs, such as the Jemison High School Elite 8 2021 team. I enjoy hunting and fishing and am an avid marksman, but I mostly enjoy spending time with my family.
