Hannah Millsap, Basketball Cheer
Hello Jaguars!
I am Coach Millsap, and it is an honor to be the coach for the Basketball Cheer Team at Journey! With a love for basketball and a background in cheer, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where cheerleaders can develop their skills, teamwork, and confidence! I believe in the importance of hard work, dedication, and having fun while learning new techniques and building strong bonds as a team. Outside of coaching, I enjoy shopping, spending time with family and friends, and community service with my sorority. I’m excited to be part of the basketball cheer team’s journey to success this season and beyond!

Michelle Breeden, Competition Cheer
I am Michelle Breeden, Head Coach of the Journey Middle School Competition Cheer Team, bringing extensive experience, proven leadership, and a strong record of competitive success to the program. I previously served as Head Competition Cheer Coach at Liberty Middle School for a combined eight years and spent 12 years as Assistant Athletic Director, including five years directly overseeing competition cheer and spirit teams.
My teams have earned multiple regional championships, including the North Alabama Regional and North Super Regional, and have placed consistently in the Top 5 at the AHSAA State Finals. Every team I have coached received a bid to Nationals, with one Liberty Middle School team finishing 5th at UCA Nationals—the highest national placement by a Madison City middle school cheer program.
I hold multiple cheerleading safety certifications and am committed to developing strong, confident young women through discipline, teamwork, and integrity. I am excited to return to coaching and look forward to leading Journey cheerleaders through a season focused on excellence, growth, and pride in our program.
